Canvas Demo by Instructuredemo

Instructure - Canvas LMS will be providing a 1 hr demo on Q&A on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 11-noon in the library room 209.

  • 30-35 min – Demo on Outcomes, Assessment, and Analytics that support teaching and learning (Instructure)
  • 5 min – where to find Cal Poly information and support (Tonia)
  • 10 min – Q & A (Instructure, ITS, CTLT)

CanInnovate
CanInnovate 1day Webinar

This event will showcase a day-long learning exchange about supporting student success with Canvas.

On Friday, October 25, Caninnovate will spotlight emerging, creative practices shared by California Community College faculty, staff, and administrators across their 114 colleges. All sessions are free and online, providing everyone a perfect way to boost their skills. 

The CTLT will be streaming this event LIVE all day in the CTLT Classroom (Library - 209). Please feel free to drop by at any time and stay for as long as you like.

Online Canvas Accessibility Workshops

Do you want to make sure your Canvas course content is fully accessible for your students? This fully-online, self-paced workshop provides guidance to help you create an accessible Canvas content page. You will also learn how to check your additional Canvas content for accessibility. 7-10 total hours required. Complete anytime of your choosing during the winter quarter.$100 stipend available for eligible faculty upon completion.

Summer Quarter Online Courses, Webinars & Recordings

The CTLT is offering a variety of support sessions this summer.  We have one to three-week online courses, self-paced online courses, webinars, and consultations available for faculty. IOTL and Accessible Content will provide stipends for completing these sessions. You will need to register for these courses so that you would be enrolled or added to the webinar meeting. Once the webinars are completed, a recording will be made available for you on this page.

After three quarters of using Canvas, we have learned some tips and tricks that will make your life easier. During this session, we will share things you will want to know while developing, teaching, and warping up your courses.
